To further strengthen account security and prevent emerging phishing and account compromise threats, BitoPro now officially supports Passkey authentication. We strongly recommend all users enable this feature to improve overall account protection.

Why enable Passkey?

Traditional authentication methods (such as passwords, email codes, or SMS codes) may still be exposed to phishing, malware, or social engineering attacks. Passkeys use device-based cryptographic technology combined with biometric authentication, significantly enhancing account security.

How to enable Passkey?

Please update the BitoPro App to the latest version and follow the steps: Open App ➡︎ Account ➡︎ Security Settings ➡︎ Passkey

Once enabled, Passkey can be used for:

Login: Authenticate using biometrics or device unlock instead of SMS or email codes.Withdrawals: Verify identity via Passkey to ensure only the account owner can authorize fund transfers.

Additional security recommendation

To further strengthen account protection, we recommend enabling Google Authenticator for both login and withdrawals as an additional security layer. Each verification code is valid for 30 seconds, helping reduce unauthorized access risks.
